The official blog of the Acadia University Art Gallery offers an insider’s view of Acadia’s permanent collection, as well as exhibitions, both past and present. The blog, along with its content, is student-directed. Opened in 1978, the Acadia University Art Gallery offers a year-round exhibition programme of contemporary and historical work. The exhibitions and outreach programming of the Acadia University Art Gallery promote visual literacy and enhance the intellectual and cultural experience of the University and wider community.
Exhibitions are presented from internal and external curatorial projects, submissions from artists and exhibitions from other cultural institutions including the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the National Gallery of Canada, The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and international organizations.
